What It Is
The obligatory annual charity every eligible Muslim must pay. 2.5% of your qualifying wealth - savings, gold, investments, and business assets - after deducting debts.

Who Must Pay
Every Muslim whose wealth exceeds the nisab threshold for one full lunar year. Nisab is the minimum wealth before Zakat becomes obligatory.
