A $500 wire transfer changed everything.
In 2021, our founder Moe Sayed wired $500 to cover a child's surgery in Yemen. A few weeks later, the before and after photos arrived - a completely different child. Alive, smiling, because someone sent $500.
Then more cases came. Some children didn't survive the wait. The system was too slow - too many layers between the person who could help and the person who needed it. That realization became the foundation of UMMA.
What started as one wire transfer is now a full operating system for impact - relief, food production, technology, and enterprise, all designed to fund the next thing.
